Animation involves showing consecutive drawings to create
an illusion of movement. So when animating Ebbey for a three
second shot, a set of images are created for a complete right and
left step. These can then be reused for several steps as Ebbey's
snout follows the scent. A much larger background is drawn, and
placed underneath Ebbey's layer. The background is gradually
moved to the left as Ebbey tracks to the right.
